Reading pages and technical logs

The website application keeps no visitor database. During access, hosting infrastructure may process an IP address, date and time, requested URL, response status and browser information to deliver pages, protect the service and diagnose problems.

The precise handling of these logs depends on the hosting provider and server configuration. We do not state a particular retention period or hosting country without verified details. You may ask the operator for information about the active infrastructure.

Contact form and email

Name, email, subject and message fields are used in your browser to prepare a draft in your email application. The form does not send them to an EPOS Electro server, and the website does not store them.

If you choose to send the email, your address and content pass through your email service and the recipient’s service. The recipient may use them to handle your request and respond. Do not send card details, banking credentials, OTPs or unrelated sensitive data.

Local preferences and tracking tools

Your cookie choice is stored in your device’s localStorage as epos-consent-v1 and remains valid for 180 days. It includes the choices and timing information needed to expire them. It is not a cookie sent with every request and is not passed to an analytics or advertising platform.

Google Analytics, Google Ads, remarketing tags and other optional tracking tools are not loaded. Accepting a category does not activate a tool that has not been installed.

Purposes and legal basis

For essential technical operation and correspondence, the relevant purposes are securely delivering content and responding to requests. Where GDPR applies, the operator must document an appropriate legal basis, such as legitimate interests for these specific purposes, while respecting your rights.

If optional analytics or advertising is added later, this policy and the choice mechanisms must be updated before activation. This version does not treat reading an article or preparing an email draft as consent to advertising.

Retention, recipients and transfers

Local choices expire after 180 days. The expired record is removed the next time you open the website; if you do not return, it can remain on your device until you clear browser data. Saving a new choice replaces the previous one. Emails you send may be kept for the time needed to handle the request and any applicable obligations. This policy does not invent a fixed period for hosting logs or correspondence.

Potential technical recipients are hosting and email providers for the data needed to deliver their services. The application makes no transfers to analytics or advertising tools. Any international transfers by the chosen infrastructure and relevant safeguards must be disclosed from its actual configuration; we do not assume every system is in the EU.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. You may also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
